Chekmäte is an artist that I've watched closely over the last few years and in that I've watched him and his music change and grow. Originally known as B.A.M (By Any Meanz) he's switched up his name recently and his music has taken a turn to talking about much more personal and controversial topics. One of my favorite things about Chekmäte's music is his punch lines. It keeps his tracks humorous and a little bit light without taking away the seriousness of what he's trying to say. And they're definitely quote-worthy!

Through the years Chekmäte has grown not just as an artist but as a graphic designer, a beats producer, a video editor, and as businessman and entrepreneur starting his own clothing line as well as his own record label PME.
