I try to do one of these every year. Here's the one I did for 2015. It's always interesting to see what music did I listen to the most that year and with the help of Spotify I can look back without having to really think too hard. Although the list isn't 100% accurate it's still a bigger help than relying on my own memory lol! It doesn't say what I listened to in the very beginning of the year but it does list some of my most listened to jams. Narrowing it down to 5 is gonna be the hard part!

I was going through some stages of jealousy earlier in the year and this song along with Feelin Myself really helped me cope with that especially since I wasn't "allowed" to talk about being jealous. Some people just aren't worth your time and I get that now, thaaaaaaank god.

Oh also! Can't forget Formation by Beyonce. I immediately fell in love with this track! So much that since I couldn't find it I straight bought it on iTunes and played it non stop for weeks. I did not come to play with you hoes, I came to slayyyyy bitch!

This I would say was the one jam that I had on steady repeat for months. I still listen to it now. It reminds me of a brand new start and just good feelings and good times and lots of laughs. Religious by Ne-Yo does that too. Mostly of 6am morning talks that spanned all day long and talking about how I should own Nikes. Whatever lol.

Picking the Todrick Hall jam of the year was a hard one considering that I'm IN LOVE with his whole Out of Oz album. Todrick was a discovery for the year thanks to my boyfriend Penny who introduced me to him during our nights we'd watch and share YouTube videos with each other. But I thought it was only right to go with the first song I was introduced to which is still one of my favs! And can we just talk about how he slays that Teddy Bear outfit? Like... can I do that?

I fell in love with this song and this was another discovery for me. It just has that beat to it and it makes me miss my life in Cali --- going to clubs and doing hoodrat shit with my cousin in San Francisco causing trouble and swerving on people. I should really take a trip back home soon! This video also inspires me to go to the gym and run my ass off. I'd love to be one of those sexy skinny girls instead of just... a skinny girl.

Another discovery thanks to my friend Chewy/Jessica. I immediately fell in love with this song that she suggested after I said I was looking for Hip Hop Jazz jams (which is another discovery!) and I just love that old school R&B vibe it gives off. Helps that Usher is on that track and actually singing too. Oh how I've missed old school Usher!

Okay okay, I had to include this because of REASONS. Reasons that I should just write a whole 'nother blog post about. Like, this whole movie soundtrack was amazing! But this song is one that me and Penny would heavily repeat for like weeks. We've just now weened ourselves off of it.

2015 was such a weird year for me... lots of drama. It was a busy but slow year, if that makes sense. Music wasn't that memorable and a lot of it is starting mush up with 2014. Thank goodness for Spotify!

I remember the first time I heard this song I was not a fan at all. I was in a crap place with my relationship and I loathed anything that was meant to be lovey dovey and happy. Ironically this came on my ex husband's playlist... go figure. But after seeing the video on accident one morning I was HOOKED. Not so much with the song but with the dance in the video. The girl moves to flawlessly and fluidly. I would dream of being able to dance like that. I still do lol. One day!

Ah, my this-is-my-first-Valentines-Day-single-since-I-was-18 song. Blasted this very loudly as I was home alone on Valentines Day... the proceeded to not remember a good portion of the day. Good times. This song will always have a special place in my heart lol.

I LOVED this song since the first time I heard it. The melody, the parts where he's just talking to her. The message. I still jam to this every now and then. I just really like it.

Another song I've LOVED since I heard it the first time! The beat is very happy and retro-ey. Maghan Trainor has become one of my favorite artists through this year! I'll admit I haven't seen the video yet, I just added it to this blog post without hitting play but from the screen cap, it looks really cute. Almost a little bit like Grease.

I was literally at a crossroad --- Taylor Swift or The Biebz? I've always been a fan of Bieber, since his first song dropped all those years ago so I'll give this one to Taylor. Mostly because I played the heck out of this song in November. Several of my Facebook captions with pictures of me and Nick are titled, He's so tall and handsome as hell... just because it does describe him pretty well.

So, my ex husband and a good work friend of mine were all gung ho about SnapChat back in 2013 and I could not for the life of me find a reason to use it. So I quit after like, a week. Tried again in 2014 because a friend of mine told me to download it + my ex husband's cousin and sister were constantly snapping me but even then I couldn't really find a reason to get on it. This year however, I started using it more because Nick asked me to so we would send stupid snaps through out the day basically I would try to entertain him while he was at work. Then big named YouTubers started getting on SnapChat and I ended up having a lot of stories to go through and it wasn't stupid stuff from like two years ago where people would send you a dumb face for 2 seconds (I think that's why I didn't like it, cause it made no sense to me and it was a waste of time) but mini vlogs --- those are stories I like watching!

I pretty much make it a point to watch SnapChat stories while in my bubble bath. Literally every night.

I wasn't always into Audible, I always figured I couldn't really enjoy a book while doing something else --- mainly because I like to highlight and bookmark certain places in a book to remember later (you should have seen how many post its covered my copy of The Hunger Games. Even Susanne Collins was surprised). However with Cinder I really enjoyed hearing the reader change the voices for the characters. I still took note of certain places in my ebook when I found something uber funny but I mostly enjoyed the luxury of falling asleep or being in the bubble bath and having someone read to me. I'm working on the second book in The Lunar Chronicles right now, Scarlet. The only thing that kills me is the dang membership fee. Back when I first started book blogging and Audible wasn't that big of a thing, they contacted me to work with them but since I didn't do audio books I declined.  I mean it was the honest thing to do, but now that I use it... it's like well damn lol. Still kinda cool they reached out to me! Even if it was like, five years ago. Most of the books I had bought, if I did, are on my ex husband's account which he locked me out of... even though none of the books are his. And he would send me snaps of him reading MY books... like bro, you're hella whack.

I use OverDrive with my elibrary's audio book files. It's so easy to end up with a ton of audio's you know you're not going to finish in time. The Girl at Midnight is one I've been struggling to finish. It sounds SO interesting but every time I pick it up I end up not having time to finish it. So annoying. So if you're looking for something to play you elibrary audio files (cause it can suck to try to figure it out), I find OverDrive is the easiest way to go (I count this as part of Audible since they serve the same purpose).

This is a new game to me that Nick introduced me to. It's an MMO but for YOUR PHONE. Duuuude. Imagine if such a thing existed in 2005! Oh goodness!! I woulda had a nerdgasm right there. The game is easy enough to understand and the missions are hard enough to keep it interesting. The world is HUGE and there are some of the cutest characters and mobs around. Plus, it goes off of a solar system (ha, get it?) which is always interesting!
