I can't believe the month is already over! June went by so fast! a lot has been going on around here but not all of it deserves a place on my blog. June wasn't a big month for favs sadly… I've been battling depression the last few months and I think I'm finally in a much better head space now than I was back in April and May. Staying close to people who make you tel like you're not hard to love can really help the healing process. I'm not healed just yet, but I'm closer than I was.
If you have not noticed, I got rid of my IG for awhile and honestly, it’s been such a huge help with healing. Even if I finally did get invited to get paid per reel — my head wasn’t in it to worry about making reels. And that is fine. Tbh I hate making reels. I’d rather do something I actually enjoy than force myself to make content I’ll just dread. That never works out good for me… spiritually at least.
It’s also moving season for me again, after skipping it for 2 years lol. But with the girls getting bigger — they definitely need a bigger space. Also I’m sick of toys literally everywhere. Just why?!
Well, I guess I lied.
I had a bit more favs in June than I thought I did...
Two years ago I married my best friend in a different world.
I can't believe it's been two whole years since then! Time truly does fly when you're having fun, I guess. Because it definitely doesn't feel like two years. It feels like we just got married. But thinking of the span of time from this day to today and everything that has happened between is crazy.
I'm thankful for this moment. For this day. For the friends that were once family and though they're not anymore I still keep these memories close to me. I'm thankful for the man by my side who did everything in his power to be there for me --- a random girl he met on a video game states away and how he never left my side.
I definitely didn't know what I was getting into when I decided to say yes to Sir Penny'puss.

I feel like I haven't been here in forever. I honestly think the idea of being the "ideal blogger" with the "perfect photos/flat lays" has seriously gotten to me and it's taking a serious toll on my blog and Instagram accounts.
I try to post photos and updates more freely on Twitter, as much as I can/remember to.
A lot has happened since the last time I was here so I'll try and do a quick recap;
I usually only post weekly recaps on my personal blog but this week I had a few accomplishments I'm excited about!
The weeks haven't been that exciting since I got back from Texas, the reason being that Bubba and I have a huge Disney World vacation coming up so we're trying to save as much money as we can in the meantime. I'm super excited for this week with him at Disney, especially since he's never been to a Disney park before! Seeing his reaction to everything is what I'm absolutely looking forward to the most!
So on to the things that happened this passed week!

So on to the things that happened this passed week!
For starters, I got my Yelp Elite badge back!
I lost it last year... my previous relationship was one that held me back from a lot of different things, one of those things being a lot of my goals and things I worked so hard to accomplish. So for me to rebuild my status and to be accepted back into Yelp Elite this year was a huge deal for me! I'm so happy and proud of myself! Now to take back the rest of my previous accomplishments!
I really hate the way blogger formats these pictures! Ugh.
I fell in love with a few new things this week; one being the Strawberry Chocolate Cheesecake snack from Graze and these 3 wax melts from Bath & Body Works! I just noticed these three scents aren't sold on the site, I picked these up at a store when I was in Texas earlier this month so I'm hoping I'll find these in stores at least. The Lavender Vanilla has been my go to jam for both the melt, the bubble bath, candle and pillow mist these last few weeks and has an amazing job of keeping me calm. Which is highly needed as my roommate's cat is driving me freakin nuts.
I started making this salmon over veggies again! This was a favorite dish I would make last year and I forgot all about it recently! So glad I remembered about it cause it's so freakin good! My grocery store has deals sometimes on the veggies or the salmon for buy one get one free so that's always helpful; definitely going to miss those deals when I move to Texas! I actually don't know what grocery stores there are in Texas.
In FFXIV news; I got my Weaver to 60 finally. I also had a friend make me the ilvl190 Ironworks gear for it (which is the highest level gear you can have atm for crafters) and I got all 4 of my books for the craft. I hit 50 on my Culinarian and I'm using Moogle beast tribe quests to take it to 60. After that I'm not sure what else to level as specialist. Bubba has Leatherworker, Alchemy and Goldsmith as his. Our server is pretty small so mats and stuff are hard to find which is why we both level different crafters and gathering classes together. He has Mining and I'm getting my Botany to 60 hopefully by the end of today \o/
I may had not done much this last week but I sure do feel accomplished and I mean, that counts for something... right?
We also got our MagicBand in the mail this week! I'm so excited! I also like the new look of these bands and the fact you can pop out the middle and put them in key chains is cool. I opted for the red one this time and Bubba got the yellow.
I guess this week will be spent leveling things and packing for the trip. Also tidying and purging some stuff because once this trip is over that means moving day is going to be up next!
If I had to describe February in one word it would definitely be distracted.
It didn't turn out the way I had wanted and once again I let my emotions take over and make me lose sight on some goals I had this month (as you can see I didn't post any blog posts or videos this month which yes, I am kicking myself about... I'm hoping to do better for Easter/Spring). The reason being... remember how I said I was going to Texas this month to go apartment hunting? Well, it seems as though I had booked my flight one day earlier than I was suppose to and because of all the stressors going on it slipped my mind to check before the departure date like I normally would so I didn't realize I was a no show for my flight until THAT NIGHT meaning all that packing and preparing I was doing that day was for nothing. So yeah, I missed my flight, wasn't refunded the money and I had to pay a $100 penalty for cancelling my hotel reservation "too late". I was pretty disappointed with myself for a LONG time. I still kinda am but what can you do. I was suppose to spend my Valentine's Day with Bubba but since I wasn't able to get to Texas I went online shopping at home by myself instead.
In the same week my ex came and got my phone and PS4 which I didn't mind giving either things back as long as it meant he would stop trying to contact me. He was pretty much abusive our whole relationship and I'd rather not have him contact me, ever again. Though he's the type to pretend like things were all good and "be nice" as long as it benefits him. One of those people. I'd rather just stay away from all of that and him.
So yeah, that's how my optimistic February went down hill --- fast.
Let's take a look at the goals I had for February in this post.
G O A L S R E C A P
--- I did read 4 books this month \o/ I'm pretty obsessed with The Lunar Chronicles right now
--- I managed to finish a bit of products and hadn't even noticed
--- I found maybe one or two favorites this month
--- Cancelled a bit of subscription services I didn't really want/need anymore
--- Got over 550 Instagram followers.... FINALLY (I've been sitting at 550 for a year with all the following/unfollowing people do)
--- Tried 2 new restaurants; Planet Hollywood (since they revamped the menu we're calling this "new") and Paddlefish (again another revamp so we're calling it "new")
I'm seriously struggling right now to come up with goals I had achieved this month. Oh bother! Ah well, you can't fit too much into a short month anyway, I suppose.
That said I will be re-attempting to go apartment hunting some time in the following month (don't worry I'll MAKE SURE to book the RIGHT day this time), the little break away from Orlando will be nice. Spring is coming up and the weather here is reflecting that which is always nice, I love Spring and Fall in Orlando the most. Easter is one of my favorite holidays and I'm so ready to deck out as much of my apartment and room in pretty pastel colors as I can. I'm so lucky my roommate doesn't care about the crazy decorations or whatever I put up. She kinda just rolls with it. So yeah.
While I did get my Canon S90 camera back (finally) I've grown pretty attached to my Sony WX300. And I'm thinking of upgrading the Canon to a G9 instead.
I'm going to be doing a series of Monthly Recap on this blog every month to document the things I loved, the things I hated and the things I stumbled across. I love looking back at the end of the year to see the progress I've made and the things I loved and hated. I don't know, it's always been a favorite thing of mine to do!

As far as goals, I didn't meet too many in the month of January.
My gathering classes on FFXIV are leveling faster than I expected them to but none are capped out at 60 just yet. My Summoner is missing one last il260 piece of gear \o/ then I can work on upgrading it to il270 every week and working on upgrading the gear for either my Bard or my Scholar to il260 next. I'm also working on getting one of the PVP mounts, just the first silver one. I already got a complete gear set for my Bard and my title. Now I just have to win 10 matches.
My apartment has been invaded by house flies so if I've been posting anxiety filled posts it's because of that making my OCD and anxiety sky rocket. We did manage to find the source and clean it up (it was SO DISGUSTING) and I'm going to try to be better at letting my roommate know to keep tidy now that this happened. So now all we can do is wait and hope that the rest of the flies die off. There won't be any new ones --- thank God. But that has been eating up a lot of my mind space, my time and my energy as of late. And I hate it.

* I really always do forget to mention my relationship in my posts... not that you can really recap a relationship or anything but just for future Hazel who I know will be looking back on these posts some day --- your relationship, though long distance is probably the easiest relationship you've been in. You've hit 7 months together and still going very strong. You changed Axelyn Lockser's name to Lady Axelyn'puss which did surprise Penny and his reaction was amazing. Through your heaviest nights of anxiety this month because of the flies he's called before bed and waited for you to word vomit your heart out until you gained enough ease to fall asleep. He doesn't think your anxiety or OCD is crazy, at all and he's really down to help you through it all. You got lucky with this one zellie!

Also, I like how I go, oh nothing really happened this week to talk about! But I end up selecting 15 photos to include in this post --- all those photos are NOT going in this post lol.
One big thing that happened this week was that Bubz and I switched servers. I've been on Faerie on FFXIV since April and while I loved my time there, it was also pretty much time to go. I tried to stay and deal with the bad energy and the drama but it got to really drain me and made me not feel like getting on anymore and I know Bubz wanted a bigger house so we hopped over to a server with one of our other friends.
The holiday event started for FFXIV and I came home to finding our lawn covered in snow... but can we talk about how cute his cat boy is?!
I wanted to go Lala to justify wearing the entire reindeer suit so we did!
Yeah we're festive af, right?!
